One thing I also can't fail to mention is that she told me that last summer the reason she wasn't filing paperwork for the divorce, because she wanted the divorce, I asked her, "Why aren't you filing the paperwork?" She told me it was because I didn't have a job, I don't have any health insurance unless I'm on her policy. Her policy renewal just came up and she went ahead and pulled me off of her policy period. And since she has pulled me off of her policy, I have not filed a period. Here I am filing because I can't live like this anymore. Period, I have no other option or recourse in this relationship other than to file for irreconcilable differences. Period, I was a loving husband and father to Elizabeth and a good father to my boys. Period. In fact, I have a card from Elizabeth three months prior to her telling me that I raped her and she wanted a divorce. I have a card saying, "You are the best husband ever. You put up with my stuff, blah, blah, blah." I have that document. I will submit a printout of it with this submission period. I am going to do my best to produce the documentation that supports all my claims, both financially, emotionally, and psychologically. Period. I am going to be making claims about emotional and psychological distress. Then I need to clearly define my experience. Period. Number one is to state the facts. Number two is from those facts. What was my living condition, living style, etc. Period. One thing I know to be true is that I love my wife unquestionably and I always did my best to keep and honor my vows with her. I can say that my perception is that she did not honor her vows, in particular the vow speaking of sticking with each other through good times and bad in both health and in sickness. Period. I was not well. I was suffering mental illness during this entire time. It was just a matter of level of severity. Period. That's not my fault. Period. I have no control over my depression. Period. Side note, make sure I submit documentation of my prescriptions so that the judge knows that I am on medications for depression and I'm on the highest dosage. Period. One thing that I also believe is that Elizabeth will contend that I had anger issues. Period. I was angry, namely because I was being ignored and because I was suffering from depression. I didn't know how to advocate for myself in a way that was healthy. Period. But I've had time to reflect and try to reflect and begin healing myself and working to get myself back on my feet in all manners. In terms of my work and in terms of my living situation. I don't disagree that I may have been angry. My anger manifests in me raising my voice and maybe shouting. That's it. I don't hit people. I don't throw things at people. I just yell. Raise my voice because in that moment I have an inability to control the trigger. And that's partially due to lack of awareness and maturity. I've been working on that extensively. I've put in over 1,000 hours of meditation in an effort to work on seeing things from a space of calmness. Anyhow, I hope this supplemental helps.
