Also have him stretch hamstrings, quads, calves and hip flexors then use a roller on calves, hamstrings, hip flexors and especially his IT bands. Rolling out can be a bit painful, but definitely helps.

It was bothering him after game on Saturday. I’ll have him stretch and rest today, and tomorrow we’ll do some light work with the ball, and have him there ready to go on Wednesday. Hi Coach, it’s Bert. I meant to catch you this week and say thanks for giving Darragh the start last weekend. Ironically he had been talking days before about really wanting to start. Not sure you remember but he’s been struggling to regain his confidence on the pitch since last year. The start really gave him a boost of confidence, and let him know you believe in him.
