I didn't negotiate the price of the vehicle before we went to costs and know my lease is based on sticker price, so that makes it very profitable for the company over the life of the lease—companies need to make a profit. Roof rails, yes I saw that it didn’t have roof rails when we were looking at it. I thought those were possible as our current vehicle has the roof rails, and there are two places (small) I see on our current car where it looks like they are screwed/bolted to the roof area. One last question about the financing so my understanding is clear. I looked again online at the payment calculator for the vehicle. With all the parameters put into place I see $327/mo as the monthly (before tax) using that tool for $30,480 sticker. What I’m looking at will be $377/mo (before tax) for $3K down, 36mo, 15k yr in miles, and putting 620 in for credit score. Can you remind me why its $50/mo different? It’s not tax, MSRP different? It shouldn’t take no longer than 15 minutes for someone to help you out. All they need is mile verification, verify vin number and signature from person who leased the vehicle. Make sure you have both sets of keys with you.
