Haha, I figured you would be interested to know it’s started. The whole building will be gone early next week. They say it will be ready for Fall 2020. New Dining Hall ready end of August and it an incredible space. Busy campus with 2 construction sites. I am good, life is busy now that all three of my boys are now teenagers. Darragh turned 13 two weeks ago. Declan is 16, Aidan will be 19 in September. Liz is awesome, on summer vacation but getting ready for Iron Man Lake Placid at the end of this month. We fly out in 2 1/2 weeks for the race. Overall we’re all healthy and busy and doing our thing. How about you? How is The great Northwest? How is married life treating you?. I know you’ve been rocking it with your art because I see your Instagram feed. You’re doing some great work, and the fact that you continue to crank work out means it’s only going to get better and more awesome.

Thanks for the kind words. I feel like I have been creating some really strong work. I am at a bit of a crossroads. I am wrapping up one chapter and I am not sure what my next step is! We are closing my art studio magnetic north at the end of the month. Bitter / sweet. But mostly sweet. After that I think my practice will evolve. Hoping for some bigger more consistent clients. The universe will provide! Glad to hear that everyone is happy and healthy. Does aiden know about college yet?

Wow! That is big news. Any particular reason why you’re closing/transitioning? I would say just don’t stop making art at least for yourself. It’s one of my regrets is that I did not continue to make art in my 20s, and I got out of the habit. I realize now I would have a very large and probably pretty damn cool body of work. I got too distracted by computers. 😁

A little bit between projects. Just finished an album and that big Lino cut snake print. Got a few things brewing but nothing concrete. I start teaching October. Working on my new website. Hopefully launching in a week.

Hey there—Family is doing ok. Thanks for asking. All 3 boys are teens now (13, 16, 19) so its a different phase of parenting all together. Liz is busy training for IRONMAN St George in May 2020—trying to get to Kona. Work is going well—A+L has been keeping me busy for almost 3 years now and I like the people I work with, so big picture all good. Thing is I feel like I’ve been professionally running in place for a long time—not much growth. Its committing the carving out of time and making it a priority. You keeping busy? I see you post work all the time—how’s things in the working world for you these days?
