[00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:13.360] episode 1. In 1995, I built my first website by hand. Today, AI is my co-pilot, but this [00:00:13.360 --> 00:00:18.880] isn't just another tech podcast. It's about using technology to start conversations that [00:00:18.880 --> 00:00:26.960] matter, especially around mental health. Hello, ladies and gentlemen, and you, listener. [00:00:26.960 --> 00:00:41.040] I'm Bert, and this is Transmission X, part of the modern AI web machine project. [00:00:41.040 --> 00:00:49.200] I have over 30 years of experience in digital design and web development, hand-coating [00:00:49.200 --> 00:00:56.440] HTML before CSS existed. I've witnessed the web's evolution from its earliest days before [00:00:56.440 --> 00:01:03.960] Google, YouTube, Facebook, video tutorials, or online classes. It was DIY learning, roll [00:01:03.960 --> 00:01:11.680] up your sleeves and dig in or get left behind. In those early days, some were on the bleeding [00:01:11.680 --> 00:01:18.160] edge while others cautiously dipped their toes in. Today, I see the same pattern with [00:01:18.160 --> 00:01:27.400] AI integration. Beyond technology, my journey includes navigating mental health challenges, [00:01:27.400 --> 00:01:34.880] completing college, marriage, raising three boys, coaching soccer, and then losing myself [00:01:34.880 --> 00:01:43.520] and mental illness during the COVID times. This led to divorce, long-term unemployment, [00:01:43.520 --> 00:01:50.880] homelessness, and living in my car for 18 months, surviving on a few dollars a day. [00:01:50.880 --> 00:01:56.440] I fell into a major depressive disorder, which I continued to manage, and suicidal [00:01:56.440 --> 00:02:05.480] thoughts were a frequent battle. These experiences have given me profound insights into life [00:02:05.480 --> 00:02:13.480] and its true priorities. Currently, I believe sharing my journey is a way to help others [00:02:13.480 --> 00:02:19.800] during my darkest times. People I found online sharing their stories and voices kept me tethered [00:02:19.800 --> 00:02:27.960] to this world. I recently rediscovered my passion for art and now create mental health [00:02:27.960 --> 00:02:36.640] awareness artwork to inspire conversations in unexpected places. I've built an AI-enhanced [00:02:36.640 --> 00:02:43.400] e-commerce platform and social media presence to showcase my artwork and share my entire [00:02:43.400 --> 00:02:56.640] journey. Documenting this process, I aim to assist others through shared experiences. [00:02:56.640 --> 00:03:04.080] So what is the modern AI web machine? Well, it's multi-platform educational content. [00:03:04.080 --> 00:03:10.200] This podcast, Transmission X, then there's the modern AI web machine, which is a YouTube [00:03:10.200 --> 00:03:18.560] channel that will have weekly tutorials and AI resources that I use to get things done. [00:03:18.560 --> 00:03:30.200] It will have insights and tips from building the BERT.forsale platform. And what is the [00:03:30.200 --> 00:03:45.120] BERT.forsale platform? Its mental health awareness artwork drawn from 40 years of life experienced. [00:03:45.120 --> 00:03:54.560] Its mental health awareness artwork drawn from 40 years of life experience. It's an AI-enhanced [00:03:54.560 --> 00:04:10.120] e-commerce platform I built from concept to execution. So what will you learn from all [00:04:10.120 --> 00:04:17.720] this if you listen to it? Well, there's practical AI implementation. There's web development [00:04:17.720 --> 00:04:25.900] insights from owning your platform and owning all of your data. There's the opportunity [00:04:25.900 --> 00:04:32.800] to learn about connecting various SaaS tools to automate production. The e-commerce setup [00:04:32.800 --> 00:04:40.800] and how that flows into fulfillment services. I'm obviously going to be having mental health [00:04:40.800 --> 00:04:46.840] discussions exploring the creative process behind the artwork. What is the inspiration [00:04:46.840 --> 00:04:59.600] for a lot of these pieces? The types of episodes will be technical deep dives with step by step. [00:04:59.600 --> 00:05:05.640] Technical deep dives with step by step AI implementation, mental health conversations [00:05:05.640 --> 00:05:13.600] with personal stories and coping strategies I've found behind the scenes of the artwork [00:05:13.600 --> 00:05:22.040] and making and how I came about with what you see behind the scenes of the artwork and how [00:05:22.040 --> 00:05:32.760] I've come to make what you see. There'll be Q&A sessions addressing questions from community. [00:05:32.760 --> 00:05:39.880] There'll be Q&A sessions addressing community questions. There'll be a lot of digital and [00:05:39.880 --> 00:05:49.240] AI tool demos, hands on walkthroughs, taking you through how things are plugged together. [00:05:49.240 --> 00:05:57.540] Why does this project matter? Bridging technology, mental health, AI and art is kind of an interesting [00:05:57.540 --> 00:06:06.080] soup, really. I'm trying ultimately to make complex technology accessible and creating [00:06:06.080 --> 00:06:16.600] a space for and inspiring essential conversations. My hope is that communities can find inspiration [00:06:16.600 --> 00:06:24.640] from these shared experiences. Certainly, this podcast and channel is for designers [00:06:24.640 --> 00:06:32.560] who are seeking AI integration knowledge, creators, maybe not designers who are interested [00:06:32.560 --> 00:06:40.560] in DIY e-commerce websites and how to use AI in that process. Certainly, mental health [00:06:40.560 --> 00:06:47.320] advocates who are interested in building their own online platforms, anyone affected [00:06:47.320 --> 00:06:53.400] by mental health challenges who's seeking relatable stories, I can see them being interested [00:06:53.400 --> 00:07:11.600] in this content as well. [00:07:11.600 --> 00:07:14.120] Subscribe to the podcast, check out my YouTube channel for hands on AI tutorials and behind-the-scenes content. [00:07:14.120 --> 00:07:18.960] Visit burt.versale to explore the artwork and learn more about my journey.
