I imagine you read many, many submissions inquiring about positions at Lynda.com. So, I'll cut to the chase.

I'm at a point in my career where I am looking to work with a smart, fun, group of people who are passionate about technology and how it can empower people and organizations. I've been running my own business for 6 years and I'll be honest, it can feel isolating at times. Previously I've worked in collaborative design/technology environments (see experience on resume) with great people. I miss that interchange and being part of something much bigger than just me that is making a difference.

That being said, I feel I'm qualified for a few of the positions you have presently listed on your website.

I have 15 years in web development, 20 years experience as a graphic designer.
15 years experience in managing technology, other designers, and developers.

I design (use all Abobe apps) and I program (HTML, CSS, PHP, jQuery, etc.).

I'm passionate about technology and how it can transform learning and understanding.

I've worked with clients and vendors all over the US, South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
This has been possible through the use of a variety of technologies (skype, ftp, cvs, IM, etc.)

My personal website is undergoing a redesign to include a portfolio.
