Eight years ago I thought I would strike it out on my own as a designer and see where it took me. Over those years I've had the good fortune to work with some smart people and work on some great projects. I've learned that connection with others, being curious, asking questions, and sharing is what fuels great collaboration and accomplishments. At this time I find myself wanting to be part of something bigger than a team of one. I have nearly two decades of experience designing and developing user experiences on the Internet. I'm able to converse in the languages of design, development, marketing, and strategy. I'm proficient with HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, JQuery, and API implementations. I'm an expert with Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe Creative Suite. I keep an open-minded approach to all ideas, and have an ego-less approach to constructive criticism. I have a wealth of experience gathering input from the stakeholders of projects. I have deep experience delivering solutions that meet scoping requirements and meet users needs. I've worked independently as a freelancer, on small design teams, and in large groups, and I have lead teams. My deep experience on the agency and client side of projects in a service driven industry has given me expert troubleshooting and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to clearly communicate solutions to others. I like to work as fast as possible but I find it critical to think ahead on projects to root out issues beforehand. And I've run solo practice for 8 years from a remote location using Skype to communicate with clients around the world.
