Sunday night personal blog. This isn't for teaching, it's for noticing. So Sunday night and I'm feeling pretty tired physically and mentally. Physically mostly because today was shoveling day. I spent about two and a half hours this afternoon shoveling and earlier this morning I spent I spent at least an hour or more doing the first round. Overall we got more than 20 inches and it's still snowing outside. So it is quite a day of snow. The week I feel was productive. I was able to share two articles online. I was able to record, edit, publish those. Create images for them, do all the SEO. And what else did I do? I have to go take a peek at my notion. I worked a lot on my Chrome extension project, which involves managing playlists for YouTube. There is not a very good tool in Chrome Web Store, at least not working the way I think it should. So the objective of the project is to create a tool that really performs. So what's interesting is that conceptually and functionally this is not a very difficult problem that I am trying to solve. What is difficult is figuring out what the architecture is and what's going on on the inside. Sort of mysterious black box kind of stuff. So yes, Chrome extension has been really fun to work on. And interestingly I am now at the point where I am taking the project from chat GBT over to Google anti-gravity. And what's the big deal? Okay, so with chat GBT, when I work on a coding project like the Chrome extension idea, everything is slowly getting better. And it is not necessarily iterative. Now I ask for something, I want to try something out. I am given code, I set it up, I try it out. I have got some feedback, I want some tweaks. And I give that back and then I get new code and it goes on and on and on and on. And just to get to some basic stuff, basic functionality. What is interesting is over at Google anti-gravity, they have a working agent system that if given the right instructions can perform a wide variety of tasks autonomously and not need human intervention. So it can basically write code, test it itself, figure out if it works and it can go spend two hours of its day chasing the solution instead of me sitting here going back and forth with chat GBT trying to make it work. So big, big advancement in that regard. I was able to get the extension project to the point where actually the problem that I'm trying to solve with chat GBT has been really stubborn problem and has taken me multiple hours on multiple days to complete it and get it sussed out. We are sort of, you know, toes hanging over the edge, nearly finished with getting this problem solved. So what I have asked GBT to do is package solving this last problem for the Chrome extension to work and finally do its core piece of functionality. Right now it's getting stuck and it shouldn't. At least hypothetically it shouldn't. And that's one of the big downfalls of current tools that stopping is built into them. You know, you can only go so far each time and I want to go all the way one time. Boom. So I don't want to go into it more than that. So I'm damn close though. So chat GBT has been helping me prep documentation so that I can pass this entire project and problem to anti-gravity and have a coding agent sit and solve this problem for however long it takes. And I could sit back and watch or I could go watch YouTube videos or I could take a nap or go outside and shovel some more snow. So it was yeah, that's kind of really interesting and fun to work on this Chrome project and and even more interesting is how far I got on my voice cloning project. Right now I am very close to having a near perfect mirror of my voice so that it really sounds like me when you're hearing this and the objective of cloning my voice is so that when I get done writing after I answer prompts, instead of me having to read it, I can feed it to a folder and have it processed and out the other side will come an audio file that will be me reading that entire text that I presented it. So again, with this project, I think what was I on version 12 of the voice and each time it was very interesting because there are a variety of variables that are that you tweak in order to tune the synthetic voice to you. It's really interesting process. I'd never done it before but I learned these new terms and I learned what they do to a synthetic voice and there I learned in a cup actually few new words. One of them was pro prozdy or prozby and it has to do with the variability of the intonation of your voice because we don't talk flat like this all the time. We have some ups and downs to a sentence. So anyway, it's been a lot of fun working on that and things have felt sort of clearer in that sense. On that side, I finally have been able to really focus on something on working on those projects and I was also able to make huge ground on the barely but here front sharing more stuff about the journey I have been on trying to get my feet on the ground and rebuild my life. I can tell you it is not an easy thing, particularly after you have been through what I have and you're still going through it. Although I will say it does feel like I'm on the tail end of things. So there is that. Also, I had a really good week of counseling. And if I think back on my week, let me think. Did I mask at all this week? Yes, I did. I masked with relatives. I didn't mask at counseling. That would be kind of stupid. And the masking doesn't really cost me anything with relatives and it sort of gives me space and quiet and peace. So it's a cost worth paying, I think. And if I strip away all the bits, what's about this week, what feels most essential and core is that I had a very positive week in the 10 hours of therapy I did last week. It has been intensive, which is why it's called intensive therapy. So what is everything asking me to go into next week? And I'm thinking it is more sharing for rarely, but here I'm going to create an orientation page to help people understand what it is, start here, read this, that kind of thing, because it's all such heavy stuff that people could probably read one. I don't know if you want to read two. It's a lot. My stuff's pretty heavy in a process. It takes time. But you want to point people in the right direction if they're looking for a particular thing. So I'm going to do that. And I'm going to be interested in seeing where anti-gravity takes me next week with Google. And things have felt better depression-wise. I don't feel completely healed. I still feel a bit in survival mode. I'm still very frustrated about my situation. And I'm going to e-mail some people I know to see if there is anything I can do, or how should I change that? If there's anything I can help them out with, take off their hands, et cetera. This is where I'm at tonight.
